Which is Better Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger

Msn Messenger is best because it has more features whilst yahoo live messenger is quite boring and not many people use it that much. Another reason is that on yahoo live messenger I don't think that you can do webcam calls and play games so Msn Messenger is much easier and more updated and only takes 2-3 minutes to download for free.

First of all we have to admit and understand the right now both MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger are widely accepted and liked chat and search engines.

If we have to compare the two interims of betterment then every individual has its own perception and preference. Like, yahoo is most likely and widely accepted for search and chat all around the world and peoples are using the same from years. But you can't ignore that fact that nearly every person using yahoo has login id of msn as well. Peoples have the feeling the yahoo is preferred more in the European and states and Far East countries as compared to MSN. MSN is mostly popular with third world countries like, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other European and states countries. In comparison to chatting both are good but emotional icons in MSN is more and good looking as compared to Yahoo.

There are more options available in terms of tab as compared to yahoo. But in Yahoo personals directory is the best thing which people like for chatting and making new friends. Also, web cam performance and voice quality on yahoo is more as compared to MSN messenger. Therefore, depending upon one's usage you can select anyone but preference towards yahoo is more as compared to MSN Messenger
Anonymous.

Yahoo’s instant messaging (IM) service, which includes text messaging, voice calling and file sharing. The IM client includes Internet radio and the regular phone calling at rates as low as one cent per minute. Starting with Version 8.1, Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger users can instant message with each other. See instant messaging and voice chat..

MSN Messenger is an instant messaging client for Windows and Mac OS computers (officially, but can be run on virtually any computer with an Internet connection, see Third-party clients, aimed mainly at home users. The business oriented client, which also uses Microsoft's .NET Messenger Service is called Windows Messenger. There are services to use MSN Messenger on the mobile phone called MSN Mobile.
Users require a Microsoft Passport to connect to the service. The major use of the software is for instant messaging. Messages can be enlivened with graphical emoticons.
Other features which now come as standard include voice conversations, support for webcams, transferring files and built in multi-user online games such as patience.
Version 6 emphasized the ability to customise the software, with personalised backgrounds, emoticons and display pictures. There is also a large community of third-party developers who have created addons to extend the capabilities of the program.
The most recent version, as of 3rd Dec 2004, is version 7.0.0425 BETA. This version supports features like winks previously only a Three Degrees feature. However, the version has weaknesses including MSN wanting to sell you display pictures, emoticons and more.
